I’ve been where you are.

In fact, I spent the better part of 10 years sitting in the pain and discomfort of watching my dreams pass me by. I had ideas, worlds, themes, and characters, but I didn’t have the ability or motivation to put my butt in the chair and write the story I KNEW was buried, deep inside me. 

I found myself living the same year of my life, over and over again. I kept sabotaging myself because I felt afraid, exhausted, and confused. And I was unsure I was able to achieve what I wanted because society told me it was too hard.

As a sci-fi, fantasy, and horror writer, I believe in the power of the universe. The power of words. And our ability to craft our future.

I realized I needed to make a change if I was going to get my books out in the world. And it started from the inside, out.

How to Use the Digital Writer Affirmations Cards Bundle

Just like writing a story, there are more than one way to use these digital writer affirmation cards. Find what works best for you. Below are several ways I implement them to reach my author goals and feel empowered doing it.

  • Choose an affirmation(s) that truly speaks to you and feels honest and focused for YOUR intentions, goals, fears, and dreams. These can change each day, week, or month.
  • Use the chosen affirmations like mantras. Say them out loud to yourself each day. Say them again. And again. And again. As you say them, try to nurture what it would feel like if your chosen mantras really were true. By doing this, you are transforming subconscious beliefs and underlying feelings you may not even be aware of consciously. The more you say them, the more you feel them, the more true they will become.
  • Use your chosen mantras as journal prompts or a focus for meditation. Journaling and meditating both function as conduits for new pathways in our brains; it literally rewires them. Science has shown even 5 minutes a day can have a profound effect on our happiness, creativity, and self-confidence.
